We are currently looking for Laboratory Scientists to join our team based at Alderley Park, Cheshire

Are you a passionate scientific graduate looking to kick-start your career?  If so, this is an amazing opportunity to take your first steps on a challenging, yet highly rewarding career path with Alderley Analytical located at Alderley Park, Cheshire.

Alderley Analytical is a GLP/GCP accredited Contract Research Laboratory specialising in quantitative bioanalysis using state of the art equipment such as UPLC-MS/MS.

As a Laboratory Scientist you will provide laboratory support for the conduct of a wide variety of pre-clinical and clinical projects.  Your main duties will be preparing and analysing samples by either UPLC-MS/MS or plate based ELISA assays to determine the concentration of the analytes.  You will also assist in the development and validation of analytical methods to regulatory guidelines.

You will undertake a wide range of analytical techniques and procedures, ultimately working with minimal supervision.  The work will be varied and interesting and you will learn new skills on a continual basis.

You will work closely with other scientists to ensure that study work is performed in accordance with relevant technical and quality standards and is delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.

You must be flexible and adaptable with excellent attention to detail; have an analytical mindset with good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work individually or as part of a team.  You must also be highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.  To be considered for this role a scientific Degree and an A Level in Chemistry is preferred; however, candidates with other relevant or equivalent experience will be considered.
